Cultivating a Culture of Enterprise Catalysing Venture Creation Building a Local and Global Ecosystem
The National University of Singapore (NUS) has forged partnerships with local governments in China to establish research institutes dedicated to research and innovation, education, and enterprise across various regions of China. The journey began with the inauguration of the first NUS overseas research institute in Suzhou (NUSRI SZ), followed by the establishment of NUSRI Fuzhou (NUSRI FZ) and NUSRI Chongqing (NUSRI CQ) in 2020. Furthermore, NUS extended its presence by founding the NUS Guangzhou Research Translation & Innovation Institute (NUS GRTII) in 2023.
NUSRI China serves as a hub for talent development, offering opportunities for Master's and Ph.D. programmes, and serves as a gateway for innovation and enterprise within the Yangtze River Delta, the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
