The National University of Singapore Guangzhou Research Translation and Innovation Institute is another prime example of China-Singapore Cooperation in the field of science and education. In this whole new hall of learning, we focus on cutting-edge science and technology, gather wisdom, and endeavour to promote academic research, talent development and innovation, as well as the two-way exchange of talents, technologies, and startups between Singapore and China.

It is my sincere hope that the National University of Singapore Guangzhou Research Translation and Innovation Institute will become a vibrant and inspiring community of science and innovation. We will be committed to nurturing world-class talent and creating an open, inclusive and internationalized academic environment that encourages students and scholars to explore and innovate. It will be a fertile ground to nourish new ideas, technologies and discoveries to flourish.

Leveraging the strength of the National University of Singapore, the NUS Guangzhou Research Translation and Innovation Institute will work hand-in-hand with our partners and enterprises in Guangzhou to carry out comprehensive and in-depth academic exchanges and collaborative research, address global challenges, and share knowledge and wisdom.

At the same time, we are also committed to our social responsibility to translate research results into a driving force for social development. We will forge close partnerships with government agencies, industry partners and all sectors of society, to foster technological innovation and promote industry upgrading that will bring positive impact to society.
