Mr Chen Jie, Member of the Standing Committee of the Guangzhou Municipal Committee, Party Secretary of Guangzhou Huangpu District Committee, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director General of the Administrative Committee of Guangzhou Development District, visits NUS.

The three parties sign the tripartite cooperation agreement to jointly establish the Institute.

March 2023

Mr Chen Zhiyong, Deputy Party Secretary of Huangpu District Committee, visits NUS and engages in in-depth discussions with senior NUS leaders to finalise the cooperation agreement for jointly establishing the Institute.

October 2022

NUS and the China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City Administrative Committee discuss collaboration matters.

November 2019

A framework agreement to establish the NUS Guangzhou Research Translation and Innovation Institute is reached between the National University of Singapore, the People’s government of Guangzhou Municipality, and the China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City Administrative committee.
