Congratulations to NUS GRTII Incubatee Yimiji Technology for Winning Two Major Awards at the Greater Bay Area Healthcare Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition!

On March 25, the 2025 Greater Bay Area Healthcare Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Awards Ceremony & 2026 Competition Launch Ceremony was successfully held in Guangzhou. Yimiji Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., an incubatee of BLOCK71 Guangzhou, distinguished itself through rigorous selection, leveraging its strong core technology, innovation capabilities, and promising market prospects. The company won two prestigious awards: the “Top 10 Startups” in the Medical Device Industry Competition of the 2025 Guangzhou Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and the Second Prize of the 2025 Greater Bay Area Healthcare Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. Mr. Peng Zhenjun, General Manager of Yimiji Technology, accepted the awards on behalf of the company.

Established on March 22, 2024, Yimiji Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise focused on revolutionizing surgical paradigms. The company is dedicated to leveraging intelligent technology to drive surgery from being “experience-driven” to “data-intelligence-driven.”


 


The company’s core technology originates from the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) in Singapore, featuring proprietary intellectual property embodied in its MIUE image understanding system. Yimiji Technology is building a full-chain intelligent surgical platform and has established close research and clinical collaborations with A*STAR, the Singapore General Hospital (SGH), the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS), the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, and the Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital. The company’s core products currently include the IMage3D intelligent 3D reconstruction software, which has obtained China Class II medical device certification, and a smart surgical navigation robot under development. In the future, Yimiji Technology plans to launch fully functional and “self-aware” surgical robots, providing comprehensive, precise solutions covering preoperative planning, intraoperative navigation, and postoperative assessment.

This event was guided by the Guangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau and co-organized by several institutions, including the Guangdong Provincial Research Institute of Emerging Cerebrovascular Disease Therapeutic Devices. The ceremony brought together government leaders, industry experts, investment professionals, and representatives from the innovation and entrepreneurship community to collectively celebrate the innovative achievements and milestone moments in the Greater Bay Area’s healthcare industry.


The competition focused on areas including high-end medical devices, biomedical materials, and smart medical devices, bringing together high-quality innovation and entrepreneurship enterprises from across the Greater Bay Area. Yimiji Technology’s outstanding performance among many excellent companies fully demonstrates its strong innovation vitality and significant growth potential in the medical device sector. It is rapidly establishing itself as a formidable “rising force” in the Greater Bay Area’s medical device industry.
